Welcome to At Home Interiors! I’m so glad you’re here. Let me introduce myself—I’m Anita, a passionate designer and lover of all things interiors.
My journey into design began with a hands-on understanding of homes and spaces. After earning my degree in Interior Design from Victoria University in Wellington, I moved to London to further immerse myself in the world of design. London’s rich architecture and vibrant design scene shaped my approach and gave me a strong foundation in balancing function, beauty, and timeless aesthetics.
Returning to New Zealand, I launched At Home Interiors to bring my global experience and passion for design into creating spaces that feel personal and unique. With over a decade of experience, I specialise in transforming kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces, always focusing on solutions that are as practical as they are beautiful.

What do you charge?
I provide tailored quotes based on your project’s specifics. A consultation helps discuss your needs, budget, and options. Hiring an Interior Designer can save money by sourcing quality products and may boost your home's value. Consultations and quotes are completed within two weeks.
Quotes & consultations?
Yes, I offer quotes and consultations. Simply contact me to discuss your project, and we can arrange an on-site consultation. Meeting in person allows us to explore your vision, review my portfolio for inspiration, and assess project specifics. It also helps us establish a good working rapport, which is essential for a successful collaboration.
Work with architects/builders?
I work independently but collaborate closely with architects, builders, and tradespeople on projects. With 10 years in the industry, I’ve built strong relationships with trusted professionals and can recommend building companies, suppliers, or tradespeople if needed.
No idea what you want?
That’s okay—I can help you discover your preferences. Many people have more ideas than they realize, and I use techniques to bring these out. Start by considering what you like about your current interior or a style or color scheme you’d like to expand on. I’ll bring my portfolio and Ideas Boards to inspire you, and you can also explore my Pinterest Interior Boards for ideas. I work with all design styles to ensure the best fit for your needs.
Ideas Board?
Once a quote is accepted, I create an Ideas Board outlining the colour scheme, product suggestions with prices, and inspiration photos. These boards provide clear direction and can be printed or emailed. They’re perfect for long-term planning, often serving as a “shopping list” for future renovations, and typically take about three weeks to complete.
Project management?
Yes, I offer full Bathroom/Kitchen Renovations and Project Management services. Whether you prefer an Ideas Board or complete management, I handle sourcing, coordination, site visits, and updates, ensuring a smooth and stress-free process.
Project timeline?
This depends on how much work is involved. I pride myself on good time management so I always ensure I try and keep on track once an initial time frame is quoted. Due to my experience I can provide you with a fairly accurate indication of how long your project will take prior to commencing.
Work nationwide or abroad?
Yes I offer my Ideas Boards service to anyone, these can be posted or emailed easily. I am based in Wellington but in some cases I may be able to also Project Manage your job elsewhere so please let me know if this is required.
